Montblanc Inks: Colors, Behavior, and Care
How to choose an ink considering flow, paper, cleanability, and the type of document you will write.
Cores
Color is just one variable
Ink also has behavior: it can be more fluid or dry, saturated or shaded, resistant or easy to clean. The result depends on the pen and the paper.
A sample made with another pen serves only as a reference. Small tests reveal how the combination works in practice.
Responsible Use
For daily use, prefer inks formulated for fountain pens and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Products with particles or high permanence require more frequent cleaning.
Do not mix inks without knowing their chemical compatibility. When switching products, clean the system until the water runs clear.
