About penAtlas
What is penAtlas?
penAtlas is an independent editorial catalog and a dedicated showcase of advertisements for writing instruments, their editions, references, features, and stories.
Does penAtlas sell pens?
No. The items belong to the advertisers. penAtlas organizes and displays the advertisements, but does not hold inventory or participate in transactions.
Is the use free?
Access to the catalog and advertisements is free. Any conditions for additional features will be communicated before any purchase.
How does penAtlas make money?
penAtlas may maintain partnerships and external links. This does not affect the price set by the advertiser nor makes penAtlas part of the transaction.
Does penAtlas also publish articles?
Yes. The editorial library gathers stories, guides, comparisons, and research about writing instruments. The collection continues to be reviewed and expanded, and accepts content about different brands and topics.

Buy
How to buy a pen?
Open the advertisement, check the details, and use the link or contact methods provided by the seller to arrange the purchase outside of penAtlas.
Is the payment made through penAtlas?
No. penAtlas does not receive payments, process transactions, or make deliveries. Payment methods, shipping, and guarantees must be agreed directly with the seller.
Is the advertisement secure?
penAtlas moderates content and receives reports, but does not guarantee the identity of the advertiser, the authenticity of the item, or the completion of the sale. Check everything before paying.
How to contact the seller?
On the advertisement page, use only the contacts that the seller has chosen to make public or the external platform link provided by them.

Selling
How to advertise a pen?
Create an account, access My Account, choose My Ads, and link the item to a model already registered in the catalog.
Can I advertise for free?
Currently, the ad registration does not present charges in the platform flow. If this condition changes, it will be displayed before publication.
How many photos can I send?
You can send up to 8 real photos in JPG, PNG, or WebP, with up to 8 MB per file.
Can I edit an ad?
Yes. Access My Account and My Ads to update the information of your post.
Can I delete an ad?
Yes. Deletion can be done in the My Ads area of the account responsible for the publication.

Catalog
How to find a model within a collection?
Open the collection and use the search by name, reference, or year. The results are paginated, and the search term remains in the URL during navigation.
How to compare models?
On the model page, select between two and four items and open the comparison. The screen gathers features, specifications, prices, and advertisements side by side and can be shared via a unique URL.
How to suggest a correction?
The contact page presents the necessary fields. Inform the model, the data that needs review, and, if possible, the source of the correction.
How to request the registration of a model?
Use the contact page and send the brand, name, reference, and sources or images that help identify the model.
How to report an incorrect historical information?
Use the 'Report Historical Error' option on the contact page and include sources that help the team review the information.

Account
I forgot my password. What should I do?
On the login screen, request a recovery code for the registered email and follow the instructions to set a new password.
How to change my email?
Open My Account and Profile, enter the new address and confirm the change with the verification code sent.
How to change my photo?
On the Profile page of your account, select a new image for the avatar and save the change.
What is the difference between Favorites and Follow Model?
Favorites saves a specific listing. Follow Model creates a subscription to notify by email when a new listing for that model appears.
How to stop following a model?
Open My Account and Followed Models to remove the subscription. It is also possible to use the signed link present in the alert emails.
How to delete my account?
Access My Account, open My Data and choose Delete My Account. Confirm your password and the code sent by email. Personal data will be anonymized, listings will be disabled, and certain records may be retained anonymously for security and moderation.

How to report an ad?
Open the ad and use the report option. Provide the reason and details that will help the team analyze the content.
Does penAtlas verify authenticity?
No. The cards help in research and identification, but penAtlas does not inspect or certify the authenticity of the items listed.
How to avoid scams?
Check the seller's identity and history, request additional photos and documents, be suspicious of urgency or very low prices, and prefer payment and shipping with buyer protection.

Privacy
What information can appear publicly?
Name, username, photo, listings, and allowed questions and answers can be public. Email, phone, and WhatsApp only appear in the listing according to the collector's selected options.
Does penAtlas sell personal data?
No. Data may be processed by essential suppliers for operations or shared when there is a legal obligation, rights protection, security, or fraud investigation, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
What happens to the data when deleting the account?
Identifying data is anonymized, credentials are revoked, photo, favorites, and subscriptions are removed, and listings are disabled. Some records may remain anonymously for moderation, fraud prevention, and regular exercise of rights.
How to exercise my privacy rights?
Consult the contact page to submit your request. The Privacy Policy describes the rights and data treatment.
