Pyotr Ilych Tschaikowsky (1840-1893) was the first Russian composer whose music had a lasting international impression. Especially Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker gained international fame. The opera Eugene Onegin is a popular example of lyric opera, verse novel by Alexander Pushkin, to which Tschaikowsky added dramatic music.

As an homage to a great Russian composer this creation is featuring Russian design elements and patterns on the skeleton cap and barrel. The barrel and cap are decorated with diamonds: 96 on the barrel and cap (~0,384 ct.) and 35 on the cap top (~0,75 ct.). The creation is made of Au750 solid white gold.

The cone is made of Au750 solid white gold.

As tribute to the well know opera The Nutcracker the rhodium-coated Au750 gold nib is enriched by the motif of The Nutcracker.
