The release date of 'Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band', June 1st 1967, is integrated on cap as an Au750 solid gold inlay.
Top of the Cap
The straight silhouette and the Au750 solid signature gold cap top are inspired by the tube microphones the Beatles used to record. The emblem is made of mother-of-pearl.
Clip
The characteristic moustaches on the clip pay tribute to the exemplary style of the musicians. The clip is inspired by Paul McCartney’s guitar.
Design
The British Union Jack, a Beatles portraits, 'Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!' headline and the song title 'All you need is love' decorate the writing instrument as intarsia work. The barrel represents distinctive symbols and characteristics - such as their signatures , a peace symbol and the Apple Records logo. The skeletonized overlay on the cap and barrel are made of Au750 solid signature gold.
Cone
The cone is shaped like a button of a mixing table.
Feather
The Au750 solid signature gold nib is engraved with 'Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!' a- a homage to the Beatlemania in 1964.
Limitation
