Top of the Cap
The shape of the cap top is influenced by Confucius’ hat. The emblem is made of mother-of-pearl.
Clip
The five Confucian virtues (mutual love, rightfulness, wisdom, morality and honesty) are represented by five diamonds (~0,035 ct.) set on the clip.
Design
The 3D precious lacquer pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by traditional Chinese patterns whereas the red colour represents happiness and prosperity. The fittings are made of Au750 solid white gold.
Cone
The cone is made of Au750 solid white gold.
Feather
The rhodium-coated Au750 solid gold nib is enriched with the profile of Confusius.
Limitation
The 88 is known as lucky number. In addition it reflects the regular pattern written in the nib atelier with every nib before it is released.
