Lid and body entirely set with brilliant-cut diamonds and sapphires, inspired by the Milky Way. The manual engraving on the front section refers to the constellation of Ophiuchus in De Stella Nova (1606). Au750 solid white gold finishes.

The base is inspired by the orbit of Mars between 1580 and 1586, presented in Astronomia Nova (1609).
