Ink Suction

When rotating the rear cone, the piston moves within the reservoir. With the nib immersed in ink, the piston's return creates the necessary pressure difference to draw the liquid.

The operation should be smooth and performed without haste. The nib needs to be sufficiently submerged to avoid excessive air intake.

Maintenance Signs

Abnormal resistance, irregular movement, leaks, or low capacity may indicate residue, compromised sealing, or wear. Do not apply force to overcome a stuck mechanism.
